Hi,

We have a requirement from one of our client which the particular image in PDF is need to set as non downloadable (apply the restriction) object.

We have already tried the Password security feature in Adobe Acrobat Professional. But still the image is viewing in web browser and able to downloadble, take screenshot and Save as, etc..,

Please let me know if there any option to restrict the particular images in PDF.

Thanks,

Santhosh

Hello Santosh!

I hope you're doing well. As our Acrobat Community experts have correctly pointed out, you can protect the PDF with a password, apply additional restriction settings, and add a watermark to the image. However, Acrobat does not have a feature to prevent others from taking screenshots of the image. To learn more about the PDF security, please see this article: https://adobe.ly/3DDMsqP

Thanks,

Anand Sri.

Restrictions apply to the whole document.

In any case you cannot prevent someone to take a screenshot.

@santhoshr29800103  I agree with @Bernd Alheit not possible.

You can either protect the PDF by using a password for everyone, but, then you need to give that password out to open it; Or you can restrict the quality of printing. But, anyone can take a screenshot of the work. You could use a watermark on the images, and use low-quality artwork, if you are afraid someone may try to re-use the work without paying for it.

This is not possible.
