Todat my Quick Tools (QT) section somehow moved to the left-most section of the toolbar. How can I move it back to the right of File Tools and Page Display Tools sections? I see that I can click&drag the QT section but it does not drop when I try to move it.

Hi @Ro-edit

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/new-acrobat-experience.html and see if that works for you.

Hi @Amal. Thanks for the reply.

I am not using the new acrobat, nor do I want to make this switch now. Also, there is no option to make the switch in my View menu (see image1). I do not want a floating Quick Tools menu, I prefer to keep it locked in the main toolbar across the top, at least for the next two weeks as I have a majore deadline coming up.

I just want to move the Quick Tools section back to the right-hand side of the toolbar (see image2)

I tired this and it gives me the prohibited symbol... like it's not available. I have plenty of space left for my quicktools. Also, has anyone figured out why this is randomly happening?

Hi there

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.06.20320 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

Let us know how it goes.

Had this problem today. If the drag and drop isn't working, close Adobe. Open RegEdit. go to:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\AVGeneral\cToolbarCustomization

Edit the DWORD bQuickToolClusterPosIsLeft

Set value to 0 (from 1).

Open Adobe. All fixed.

The value updates on closing Acrobat, so you must have it closed to make the change.
