How to specify files for batch processing in DC pro

Hi,

I need to batch process (convert to pdf) a lot of office files. How do i specify the files to process (doc, xls, etc.)?

If I just specify a folder it will convert all the files, that's not what I want.

Thanks

This used to be possible in older versions of Acrobat. Unfortunately, this feature was removed recently, so if you want to select which files to process you have to do so manually before running the Action.

Thanks everyone.

I've solved it by writing a macro ane not use Adobe.

However my big problem now is how to resave pdfs in the right pdf format.

Does anyone know how to do that with batch processing?

Thanks.

What is the "right pdf format", exactly?

Thanks.

How incredibly stupid.

Does anyone know of a tool that can do this?

In a word, no. Perhaps the best thing is to manually go through the folder and move the desired files into another folder for bulk processing. That's the best I can come up with.

Sorry
