How to turn Fast Web View off in Acrobat Pro DC 2019 for Mac? Using the Preferences does not work

How do you turn Fast Web View off in Acrobat Pro DC 2019 for Mac when optimizing?

Using the Preferences/General or Internet does not work.

Still leaves the Fast Web View on when optimized. Now Chrome will only open the file zoomed in, instead of fit to page. This started out of the blue in the past month with no setting changes. Files with Fast Web View: No seem to work fine and open in Chrome fit to page. Just can not get optimized files to save with Fast Web View: No anymore.

Hi,

Can you tell if this started happening after the last update to your Adobe Acrobat ?

Have you try to uninstall and reinstall the plug-in?

Problem Solved after 2 hours on with support. Acrobat did an update and was the cause of it all. Now (as many of the groups discuss, in Preferences / Documents - Save As optimizes for Fast Web View needs to be turned off. Also in Internet (don't know why) but Allow fast web view needs to be off. So then I need to do a work around since the update overides these settings when I do a Save As Other... Reduced Size PDF. Now I must close the file, reopen and do a plain ole Save As. That is what now turns off the Fast Web View. The hole reason for Fast Web View needing to be off is with it on, it overrides the PDF's page view settings when the PDF is opened in a web browsers pdf reader, especially Chrome.
