How to turn this ai search assistant off?

Is there a way to stop this from showing up when I search for something in my doc? window from showing up? Tks

Go to Menu - Preferences - Generative AI and disable it.

This does NOT disable the AI search feature. It still pops up at the bottom of every PDF that gets opened. It also doesn't remove the AI button from the toolbar.

Ideally, the feature should be disabled with the suggestion provided above by @try67.

Form another post, to revert to the old interface:

• On Macs, go to the View menu and select Disable New Acrobat. (I'm not on Mac, so I cannot test).
• On Windows, to the hamburger menu in the upper left corner (where the old File menu used to be) and select Disable New Acrobat, it's about 2/3 down the menu
