I need help to ensure the contents of child PDF matches its parent PDF of which pages (consecutive) are extracted..

How to use Adobe compare target extracted from pages say 3 to 29 of source?

To illustrate my operation on said PDF

  1. copy source (40 pages) file
  2. paste file
  3. rename file as target
  4. select pages 30 to 40
  5. delete
  6. select pages 1 to 2
  7. delete
  8. target should match source Page 3 to 29
  9.  save

If possible, this will save my visual compare of two PDFs which needs time and prone to human error.

Acrobat Pro can compare existing pages only.

This tool is a page comparator not a document comparator.

Thanks, but I cannot find Compartor tool called Page Comparator. After more searching, what do you think of my rephrase

How to report Page changes/differences between two Documents?

Example is how would someone In the legal field know a document is from a section of its source? making an unintentional mistake can be very problematic.

Extract Page 3 to 29 from parent file and compare it with child file.
