Hyperlink blocked in interactive PDF, I've set up the Trust Manager to allow.

An InDesign file exported as an interactive PDF has a hyperlink that has been set up to be allowed in Trust Manager and I still get a security block error. What am I missing?

Thanks for the info. The fix I came up with was to use the edit tool in Acrobat, remove the hyperlink in the PDF and then re-add the link. Now when I click on the link it isn't blocked and it goes to the website. Not sure of why but it works.

Hi Good_D,

As per the description above, you are not able to open the Hyperlink in PDF as the file was originally exported from InDesign, Is that correct?

Please refer to the following links which discuss the similar issue: Problem with URL in InDesign to PDF  Link: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/845330

Allow or block links to the Internet in PDFs, Adobe Acrobat  Link: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/allow-or-block-links-internet.html

For more information, see the Application Security Guide at www.adobe.com/go/learn_acr_appsecurity_en

Hope this helps and keep us posted with the results.

Regards,

Anand Sri.
