Hyperlink in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

You are asking the impossible. PDFs that you email will be viewed in the email app, or browser, or downloaded. They might be viewed in Acrobat Reader or Acrobat. Or Chrome or FireFox or Edge, each of which has a PDF viewer. Or Windows Reader, or a rival desktop app. Or in Safari or Preview on Mac. Or on an iPhone, iPad, Android tablet, Chromebook or TV. These each have a different idea of what to do with a hyperlink, so be sure the text of the hyperlink can be copied and pasted by people for whom it does not work. Assuming the viewer supports copy/paste. We are in a world where the huge success of PDF has killed compatibility beyond the basics.

That is impossible. We send out this email as a newsletter to more then 5000 adressee and you get our PDF by a link in the email. If you click on this link, the PDF document opens in the browser. You have now the possibility to click in this document on Icons with hidden links. And this links opens not in a new window, they close the PDF document and open a website.

And we would like to open a new window in the browser with this link.

Are the users using Acrobat Reader?

They may have to download the attached PDF to their desktop and then open the PDF.
