I like working with publisher to create forms. I used to be able to convert these to fillable PDF's, but it continues to give me an error message saying in cannot create a new PDF form. Please advise. Thank you

That is correct. Acrobat DC does not provide a PDFMaker for Publisher. You must open your document in Publisher, create PDF (either using the Microsoft “save as PDF” or printing to the Adobe PDF PostScript printer driver instance), and then open that PDF file in Acrobat to create a PDF form.

What is the exact message, and what have you just clicked (button, tool, menu etc.)?

I click on Tools, Prepare form. I then add the publisher file under select a file. After I press start the exact message that comes up says: Adobe Acrobat DC could not create a new PDF form.

Are you selecting the original Publisher document file or a PDF file created from same? It is only the PDF file that you can create a PDF file from, not the original Publisher document file!

I'm selecting an original Publisher document file; you aren't able to convert a publisher file like you can with word?

I recall in the past I could create Publisher newsletters and format them as a pdf and retain the hyperlinks. It seems that is no longer an option. What is the best workaround for a NL other than Publisher? I am not happy with the capabilities of WORD.
