Hi Bunkle01,

Sorry for the delay in response.

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are facing issue when trying to add signatures on a pdf, is that correct?

Would it be possible to share the screenshot ( when trying to add signature on a pdf) with us? To share the screenshot here in the forums, refer to the steps given in this link: https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7043#jive_content_id_How_do_I_attach_a_screenshot

Also, check if signing is allowed on the pdf by opening the pdf in Acrobat > right-click the pdf > document properties > security tab.

Also, let us know the application you are using to sign the pdf - Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat?

Operating system installed on the machine - Mac or Windows?

Let us know if you need any help.

I've been having the same problem for more than a year.  I used to have my signature and used it constantly.  When they updated the UI, I can no longer use the siganture I already had and when I try to create a new one, it just blacks out my screen until I hit ESC.  I also can't process redactions since then.  I have to use one of my employees accounts.

Hi LIFOtheParty,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble caused.

If you can't access the signature under the Fill & Sign tool, try repairing the application installation. Go to Menu > Help > Repair Installation (for Windows) in the Acrobat. Also, try rebooting the machine once.

If the issue still occurs, please share the Acrobat and OS version on the device.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Did you find a fix for this? I'm having exactly the same problem in 2023 with a paid subscription.

Hi Rachel311397831tod,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please let us know the issue you are experiencing when trying to add a signature.

Would like to inform you that under the Fill & Sign tool, you can add only two signatures. If you need to add a signature, you have to remove one of the old ones.

For more information, refer to the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/signing-pdfs.html

If you are experiencing other issues, it would be helpful to share more information.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

I have two signatures added but after acrobat reader updated to last version I'm unable to delete any of the two added and add another one. I can select any of the current signatures, and there is a big X in the right side of the signature box, but it does nothing.

Can you help me?

Same issue. Two signature but can't add more

Apparently there is a limit of two, as I can delete one of them and replace it by another

Why Does Adobe limit the number of signatures to two?

I shouldn't have to muck around with registry settings, renaming files and deleting signatures.
This is rediculous...
Another half baked Adobe solution.

Another waste of the subscription monies I pay for this product.

When are Adobe going to rectify this limitation?!!
