I can't change the fill color or select "No Color" using Acrobat Pro DC with OS High Sierra.

Hello, I can't change the fill color or select "No Color" using Acrobat Pro DC with OS High Sierra. How do I make a button have a transparent background/access the "No Color" option? I've included a screenshot to show what I'm seeing. Nowhere is the a transparent or "no color" button.

I also can't change the fill color of form boxes which are transparent by default. I can select a color, but then there's no apply button and when you close the color box it stays transparent. I suspect the two issues might be linked, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Thank you for your help!

This answer is not correct or doesn't address the issue/question.

We are referring neither to "Text fields", nor to "Borders".

We are referring to "Filling" (not borders) any shape like rectangle or oval shape (not a text field)

Halleluya !

I have at least found a workaround to this bug:

Right Click on the shape command button (not on the shape itself)

Show Properties Bar Menu.png

and select "Show Properties Bar"

Then if you select the shape, you can change the fill color from there.

The issue or Bug described above applies to any type shape that has by default a "no color" set. in that case its impossible to just change the color of the fill from the properties window:

Yes, and has the option to fill with "No Color", an option I've been looking for for the past 30min.

It is odd that Apple's native color picker does not support transparency.

I cannot believe that this issue still exists. I've been searching everywhere for what I was doing wrong.

I am trying to include invisible buttons but fill will not allow it.
