I cannot stop blue popup "tips" from appearing

There are 10 screens full of messages back and forth about the above subject WITH NO ACTUAL SOLUTION (I use a Mac). Please will someone of credibility from Adobe either verify that "It cannot be done" or else give an actual, working solution.

Thx

Hi @S. S , I am currently running Acrobat Pro on Mac OS
 Continuous Release | Version 2024.002.20687
Mac OS Monterey 12.7.6

I don't think I have a registry editor.

Hi @D4v3,

Thanks for the clarification.

Adding to what Tariq shared, you might want to try the steps below:

Close Acrobat completely > Open Terminal > type the codes -

defaults write com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro EnableContextualTips -bool false
defaults write com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro EnableContextualToolbar -bool false

The keys can be found here: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/PrefRef/Macintosh/FeatureLockDown.html?zoom_highlight=context#Contextmenus,tips,tools

Once done, launch Acrobat again and check if it helps.

Regards,
Souvik.

Hi @D4v3,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

If you are still looking for a solution, you can try out the registry settings as suggested in the given link: Lockable Settings

Hope this helps.
