Well, it's an oversimplification and does not apply to XI or earlier. Clearly there are Classic (2015), Classic (2017) and Continuous (DC) downloads which are different, and there are enterprise downloads. But for a given flavour, such as Continuous (DC), you will see that the download links for Standard and Pro are the same size and turn out to be the same URL.

There is one installer for both Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Standard

* If you run a trial it will always be Pro

* If you license it (with a subscription or serial number) it looks at what you paid for, and gives you Pro or Standard according to that.

Updates

  • Download and installation help for Adobe links

  • Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

And a big thank you to Jim @ Prodesigntools for helping me with these links!
