Question

I need something between Acrobats quality settings

I have a fairly large 6 page PDF (25mb) and need to reduce it to a more usable size, somewhere below 10mb, around 5 would be nice.

In the creation of a PDF, the options in Acrobat are:

Smaller - this gives me a file size of 1.4mb but the PDF looks terrible

Default - This leaves my image quality as it is but gives the 25mb file size

As an alternate, if if use the 'Save as Other' -> 'Reduced Size PDF' option this also goes straight to the 1.4mb very poor quality version.

Does anyone know if there is any way to find a middle ground?

There are many ways to create a PDF so we need to ask how you are doing that. Also do you have Acrobat Pro?

I have Acrobat Pro DC

I originally created the PDF from an Adobe Stock template, imported into Photoshop (as I am more familiar with Photoshop than other apps, sorry, i'm a bit of a noob). I am sure that this is not ideal and am open to suggestion of the best way to use an adobe stock template and create quality documents.

I exported each page out of Photoshop as a PDF and then combined them in Acrobat.

Thanks in advance
