I need to download the acrobat xi pro 11.0.23 update aka AcrobatUpd11023.msp

Greetings,
unfortunately this AcrobatUpd11023.msp update is essential to avoid having a continuous crash of the application, but it has been removed from Adobe's servers.
Kindly, can someone re-link it?
Thank you.
Simon.

That's a dead link. Get the DropBox file I posted recently. It's worked for 2 people so far.

When I tried it I was sent to EDGE and it opened the default pages I setup. Then I saw a note about FTP download apps. I went to the Acrobat download page and instead of clicking on IT, I right clicked and coppied the FTP server page. Opening file explorer I then posted the ftp link in the address bar. Right click on the MSP file, save to your computer and then you can install it.

You should keep all those files needed save somewhere on your computer, as Adobe could remove all those old software any moment from their public servers.

You can get it from here, but you need an FTP client. Browsers will no longer open this link:

ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/11.x/11.0.23/misc/AcrobatUpd11023.msp

I admint my ignorance, but could you provide instructions for how to obtain the patch file using FTP. I tried installing an FTP client but got lost in the details of configuring it. I downloaded FLING from NCH.

I did all of this and windows says verify that it's a valid windows installer patch. HELP!!

Hi @maddogcr

Thank you for posting this question.

I would like to mention that in order to install an update manually, one needs to understand whether the previous update installed on the machine for the app was a QFE or a quarterly/monthly update. If the last update was a QFE update, the immediate next monthly/quarterly update patch must be installed before any new future update can be installed. If the previous update patch was other than a QFE, can any future update be installed?

FYI: Please try to avoid installing updates or patches for unverified sources, as those patches may cause problems on your system.
