Version 2023.003.20201 is absolutely terrible!! Who decided to change the UX and UI of this app? It was perfectly fine. Now it's unusable. How does one go back a version? I should have turned off my auto-updates. This is a very dissapointing update in every possible way. Would love some info on my request. Thank you.
I want to thank Kodak for helping me, they gave me instructions how to remove the current version and links to last years version. This version broke multiple plug-ins and so many other issues with how it ran. I cant even use any Plug ins with a 4k monitor since over a year ago. At least last year the Plug ins would run on Non 4 K monitors. Adobe needs to be more aware of what the users needs are and work with companies like Kodak that have Prepress plug ins that are for printing. Adobe, let us know when this is fixed.
Thank You!!! This update took out my entire office. Not one single person could find anything. I am extremely competent with computers and software and I could not even find the freaking Zoom functions. Worst update imaginable.
I know right?! I wasted over 20min just looking for the zoom feature normally right there front and centre of the app!? And, I never did find it!? Insane. Very glad for this post on how to revert back.
Ours too! It's fine to change things in small doses, but to redesign the entire platform all at one time, that's completely moronic. I HATE this new version. So does every single person I have spoken to. Maybe try doing this in small pieces next time. My husband's entire company chose to move to Bluebeam because of this update.
Finally got away from the horrible version 23! Froze all the time and couldnt ever get any work done. Why do they make it so hard for us Cloud users to revert to an older version of the software???
Thank you John, thanks the maker we were able to unistall and install previous version, what an gigantic failure from Adobe and a not needed mess this new version created.
What an absolute waste of my time and totally unprofessional. Firstly not being able to use apple quick keys to go to PDF in the finder quickly. And what’s up with not having a full file name in the header Tabs WTF!
Horrible UI worst decision ever by Acrobat team. Must have a new leader.
The worst part was wasting time searching for ways to get rid of it!

But oy vey, Adobe doesn't seem to have learned anything at all from the issues everyone had when they did the same thing to us back in 2020 (IIRC) and we all had to roll back then as well.
This new adobe sure sucks, if anyone else has figured out hyperlinking, it would be great to know. Regardless on if I'm working on my imac or macbook pro, when I export PDFs (normal or interactive) from Indesign, the hyperlinks just don't work (websites etc). The people receiving my PDFs with hyperlinks say they open fine, and I get the little hovering finger thing, but it does not open any sites. Anyone experienced this, guidance greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Thank God I discovered this. I'm normally a "bleeding edge" software user and don't mind updating to the latest and greatest software. This new version completely wrecks productivity though, and the UI changes were completely unnecessary/unuseful. Things that used to require 1 click now require 3 or 4. They buried useful tools and changed things for the sake of changing them. They need to fire whoever approved this.
Thank you!! I have never had a new version of anything make things so much more complicated and time consuming! Thank goodness there was a back button.
