Version 2023.003.20201 is absolutely terrible!! Who decided to change the UX and UI of this app? It was perfectly fine. Now it's unusable. How does one go back a version? I should have turned off my auto-updates. This is a very dissapointing update in every possible way. Would love some info on my request. Thank you.

Or, you can choose DISABLE NEW ACROBAT. https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/new-acrobat-experience.html

I want to thank Kodak for helping me, they gave me instructions how to remove the current version and links to last years version. This version broke multiple plug-ins and so many other issues with how it ran. I cant even use any Plug ins with a 4k monitor since over a year ago. At least last year the Plug ins would run on Non 4 K monitors. Adobe needs to be more aware of what the users needs are and work with companies like Kodak that have Prepress plug ins that are for printing. Adobe, let us know when this is fixed.

Hey Amal, I think from the feedback on this oage, you're probably coming to understand the new UI sucks. People hate it. So.... when is Adobe going to do something to fix it and revert to the older UI?

i hope they really revert it to older version though, not just waiting for the customer "gets used" of the new one

The "new" interface is complete garbage. Can I make it any more clear!? Do NOT push people on this ridiculous and super-poorly designed "improvement". It's no improvement, it's a waste of everyone's time and Adobe should be spending OUR money more wisely. It's the most poorly designed interface I've seen in over 40 years of using computers.

You got rid of access keys. Do you know automations you ruined with this update. Just roll it back.

Hi @BlueFreezie
I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.
Would you mind sharing more details about the issue you are experiencing and when you quote " access key is removed"?
What version of Acrobat is installed? I hope you are on the latest version of Acrobat 23.006.20360. Check for any pending updates from the help menu of Acrobat, select check for updates, restart the app and the machine if possible and check functionality.
We're here to help; we just need more info.

Hi Amal and other Adobe programmers,
For wht it is worth, I tried to get used to the new interface, but what I learned is that there were more changes than one could deal with at a time. AND, they are not just visual changes - functionality changed for the worse. Editing pdfs is rediculously difficult now; choosing to edit a pdf creates all kinds of problems with existing documents. Fewer fonts are supported, sometimes it treats form data as images that are plain text entered into an adobe pdf form, entries into forms don't resize automatically like they should, pdf documents that I have edited for years are all of sudden not editable, etc. and this is just the start of the problem. How do I even write on a pdf using my touchscreen or stylus like I did before? I feel like I had a product that made me super productive all of sudden just stop working. For me, these changes were like taking Acrobrat Pro and turning it into the Adobe Acrobat DC Free PDF Viewer....

Horrible experience!
I am glad I was able to revert to the old version before going any further

I've been using Acrobat since version 4 so I have seen my share of updates over the years. This is by far the absolute worst. STOP CODDLING TO STUPID PEOPLE is what you need to do. Your attempts to make navigating and using tool easier has turned it into a complete nightmare. I actually stopped using it for a long time and went to Blue Beam, but I actually like acrobat better if you WOULD JUST LEAVE IT ALONE!!.

I'm confused. I have 2023.003.20248 installed. The way it looks is the same as it always did in the last two years.
What are we talking about here? A comparison of a much older version and the current one?

Thats just the home screen you show there, open up a document in the old version and the new one, they are very different.

As an editor who uses Acrobat to proofread and correct texts and layouts, this update makes it nearly impossible to do my work. Some of the most useful tools (like delete and insert are no longer included). I hope Adobe will take people's comments seriously.

Same here. I've only seen one positive comment AT ALL from a customer in any thread, and it was a "meh, it's a little better for me" while everyone else in the community were basically screaming out in opposition. I see no evidence so far that Adobe is understanding we are saying "no" to these changes.

I absolutely hate this updated version of Adobe Acrobat! Stuff that used to take me seconds now I can't even find it is a horrible version!!!

Absolutly horrid, non-intuitive, awful....who in the h.. throught this was a good idea? Did they conduct user usability testing? I doubt it. I've been a loyal Acrobat user since version 2.0 and this is absolutly horrid. Reverted within a week after having put up with the new UI for a long as I could. Could't find tools, menus were non existant and trash.

Again, it works fine for me. I love it. If you don't like it, revert to the old interface. For the moment, that should not be an issue.

Are you joking? There is no way you could like they changes more than the previous version.

100% This new version is an utter nightmare. The tools are all over the place; the ones I need and use the most are not obvious because they are buried and then, if I do find them, they also look different. I cannot even begin to fathom what possessed people to make these changes. I am wasting my time using this product.

Agreed. New Adobe Reade UI sucks. Unintuitive. Bad design from a "design company." I feel your pain, John.
