image field does not support PNG with transparent background

Hi, I create a PDF form using ADOBE ACROBAT DC. When I add the image field, I can add an example of PNG image with transparent background.

However when I save to PDF and send to someone else so they can edit text and image with ADOBE READER DC, they tried to add PNG image with transparent background but the output is automatically adding a white background to the image... is it normal ? How can they keep the transparent background of PNG format ?

Acrobat isn't changing the PNG background, the default background of the "Image Field" is white. Change it to transparent.

I can't find this setting anywhere in preferences or elsewhere. Any time I "add image" and choose a transparent png it adds a dark green background. While I would normally edit these in a better program like Illustrator, the files I'm editing has fillable fields that I don't want to remove or edit.

Please tell me where this setting is.

Bug or pushes-for-upgrading-feature? (as for barcode form fields)

I cannot answer.
