Images downsized during Word to pdf conversion

I've created a photo book using Word and it has to be in a pdf form to upload it to the printer. When I export to a pdf, Acrobat downsizes some of the 300dpi photos or increase in some cases. The photos need to be at least 300dpi for printing. How do I get Acrobat to stop downsizing my photos? Thanks!

Adobe Acrobat does what it has been told to do. But it does this for all assets in a file. Not only selectively for some.

How do you convert the Word document?

Did you scale pictures inside of word?

Can you share some problematic data (a page PDF and a page Word should do it)?

How did you notice that the picture is not at 300dpi? (which is ppi, btw)

Hello Abambo, I looked again at my Word document and yes, all photos were scaled. I fixed that, saved and converted to pdf and still a few pics didn't stay with the 300ppi and others increased exactly as before. So, I must have incorrect settings somewhere. Here is a page in Word which is the 7th pg in the pdf I attached to yesterday's response. Thank you.
