In Acrobat DC document disappears suddenly without warning.
After I open a PDF in ACROBAT DC, and start read or start to work on it, it disappears. Where does it go? Why does it disappear? How do I prevent this from happening?

Thanks for trying the troubleshooting steps.
Please confirm where does those files are located? and when you say document disappears does that means they are only off from screen but still there in your computer?
Also, how long does it takes to disappear the file and when did this start to happen?

WELL, the solution was not the troubleshooting process.
I realized that I chose to retain Acrobat XI Pro, when installing Acrobat DC. Thinking that the two versions might be fighting each other in some way, I uninstalled BOTH versions.
Then, I reinstalled only Acrobat DC.
My problem went away, and I can edit my documents to my heart's content. Everything stays where it should.
Thanks for the help. It kept me from giving up!
