I have a InDesign file that was built with 128 layers each containing CMYK content. I need to export the file to create 128 separate PDF files, one for each layer. Is this able to be done??

I'm sure there's an InDesign script out there that will do it for you. Try the InDesign Scripting forum. If they can't help post back here, as it can also be done in Acrobat.

I would try opening the InDesign file with Acrobat and see what happens. This will not overwrite the InDesign file. You may need to set a parameter in InDesign to save as layers.
