I can't even figure out how to put this into words so I'm having trouble searching online for a solution. This has been going on about two years now and I'm a heavy user of InDesign for my business. Eventually the program will crash and I have to try to save what I was working on, then restart it. I have tried updating to most current version, restarting machine, checked with my IT department, etc. Pictures InDesign1 & 1.2 show you what's happening. It affects text, whole paragraphs, margin lines, everything. Picture Indesign2 is my task manager to show functionality of system resources when it's happening. Picture InDesign2 shows the eventual happening where I end up having to shut it down completely. All the menus go black. Picture InDesign4 shows my system specification. Note that I deleted some information from these images. Help! It's quite annoying.
