How do I custom set the Initial View / Document Properties in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I want all my PDF documents (converted from Word) to open and save as:

Navigation Tab: Bookmarks Panel and Page

Page Layout: Single Page Continuous

Magnification: Fit Page

Open to page: 1

Instead of opening as:

Navigation Tab: Page Only

Page Layout: Single Page Continuous

Magnification: Default

Open to page:1

thanks

Heather

Hi Heather

Hope you are doing well. As described you want to change the initial view property of the PDF.

The initial view of the PDF depends on how its creator set the document properties. For example, a document may open at a particular page or magnification.

To set the initial view or zoom level when opening a PDF you can use the Document Properties Initial View tab (File > Document Properties or Control-D). From this dialog box (shown below) you can set how the PDF will open.

For more information, please check the help pages listed below:

Hope this information will help

Regards

Amal

Note that this setting only affects that one file, not all files on your computer.

To change those go to Edit (or the Acrobat menu on a Mac) - Preferences - Page Display and set it there.
