Actually, I was able to insert an image with Acrobat X Pro on another PDF file. It could be that this did not work on my original PDF file because of some security reasons.

This is a problem with Adobe Acrobat X Pro, but not with Adobe Acrobat DC Pro.

Use the Add Image tool, under Tools - Content Editing.

The Tools - Content doesn't seem to have an "Add Image" tool.

The "Add Image" command comes up with Adobe DC Pro when right-clicking on the document to insert the image after selecting "Edit PDF". (With Adobe X Pro this command is called "Place Image", but it doesn't come up when right-clicking on the document after selecting "Edit Object".)

Hi "try67",

Thanks for your response!

But the Tools - Content doesn't seem to have an "Add Image" tool.

The 'Add Image" command comes up with Acrobat DC Pro when right-clicking
on the document to insert the image after selecting "Edit PDF".

(With Acrobat X Pro this command is called "Place Image", but id doesn't
come up when right-clicking on the document after selecting "Edit Object".)
