Install Acrobat 4.0 CD on Dell Windows 10

Our old computer died. Now have a Dell with Windows 10. Unable to install Adobe Acrobat 4.0 on CD that we purchased years ago.

    That must have been quite an ancient computer running a very old version of Windows. Acrobat 4.0 was designed for Windows'95. It was a 16-bit application if I recall correctly.

    You will absolutely need to upgrade to one of the current versions of Acrobat.

    It worked on the HP Windows 7 that just died.

    It could not have fully worked. The Adobe PDF PostScript printer driver instance from any version earlier than Acrobat 8.1 simply won't work on any version of Windows beyond Windows XP. Are you sure what you have is Acrobat 4? Acrobat 4 is from 1999, over eighteen years ago and certainly would not have been bundled with a Windows 7 computer.
