Install old version of Acrobat

Community Beginner ,
Oct 07, 2025 Oct 07, 2025

Hello

I have a strange issue with Acrobat : I can't have all text on note. That are disappearing...

As it seems that there is no solution (already post on this issue), I want to install an old version of Acrobat, but I don't have the option on the Creative Cloud app like in other software.

Where can I find old version ?

Thanks

@PLAYMOCAT that is correct, your Creative Cloud Desktop App will not have the previous versions like the other sotware such as Photoshop or Illustrator. Adobe Acrobat is handled differently. Since Acrobat is classified under Document Cloud and not standard Creative Cloud apps, the "Other Versions" menu is often not available for it in the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Before fully uninstalling and downgrading, it may be corrupted preferences. Corrupted preference files can cause unusual display issues. Resetting them can often fix strange bugs.  Close Acrobat.

PC:
Navigate to: C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\<Version>
Delete the folder or specific .prefs files.

MAC:
Go to: ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Acrobat/<Version>
Delete the preferences files.

As per Google:
Acrobat Reader: https://get.adobe.com/ca/reader

Acrobat Pro: https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/download-install/kb/acrobat-2020-downloads.html

Hello

Thanks for your quick answer.

In fact I found the problem. All the issue I have with acrobat (impossible to convert word document into PDF or text disappearing on pdf note) are due to the Montserrat font.

I don't know why but when I uninstalled it, no more issues. Perhaps you can see with developers why there is a problem with this particular font.
