Installation error 48

I can't download Adobe Acrobat DC.
I keep getting error code 48.
It appears that the installer cannot access a file.
What should I do?

Sorry to see the trouble caused.

Error code 48 indicates that Creative Cloud can't access a file or directory that is required for installation.

Try the following steps-

1. Select Retry to try accessing the file or directory again.
2. Else, Reboot system 
3. Quit CC desktop application completely.
4. Navigate to this link : https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html and download the Acrobat DC installer from here.
