Question

Internal links not working in duplicated pages

I'm trying to make a document with multiple pages that include the same internal links (sort of like an embedded index)- but once I duplicate the page, the links don't seem to work.

I'm quite new to making PDFs and opted to include the links in Acrobat even though the document template was created in Word.

What am I missing that will maintain those links in the duplicated pages?

Please see attatched. Pages 1 and 2 are the originals- the links seems to work. Page 4 is a copy of page 2 and page 17 is a copy of page 1- none of the links are working

Hi Mike,

I hope you're doing well! Apologies for the delayed response and any inconvenience caused.

Could you please provide more details about the issue? For example:

  • Is this happening with a specific PDF, or have you tried creating a new one and linking an internal page?
  • Is the issue occurring on Windows or macOS?

Also, please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed: 24.005.20320 (planned update on Dec 10, 2024). To check for updates, go to Menu > Help > Check for Updates, install any pending updates, restart the app and your machine, and then check again.

For more details, you can refer to the release notes here.

If possible, could you share the affected PDF file with us via direct or private message for further investigation? We're here to help and just need a bit more information to assist you better.

Thanks,
Anand Sri.
