Invalid encoding

When I edit an existing PDG I get this message error:

 

"Font Arial Bold 1252 contains an invalid encoding. Some characters may not display"

 

My PDF become unreadable...  

 

How can I fix this?

the source is our accounting software.  I wanted to add a backup to it, but it wont recognize de caractere.

 

Would it be to go directly in our accounting sotware and change the caractere to something else?
