Invalid numeric value

I am running MacOS Mojave 10.14.6.

 

I have Adobe Acrobat DC installed, version 2019.012.20040.

 

I am trying to OCR a page range within a document. This particular document has 268 pages in it. When I specify a range (pages 4 to 20) the Invalid Numeric Value dialog comes up (see attached). That is plainly wrong.

 

In the last few days, this seems to be happening with quite a few pdfs.

    I am checking online to see what is this about. In the meanwhile, can you tell if this happens in every other computer (with different OS) when you try opening this file in them?   OR, is this happening with any PDF file just in that computer?

    I think it is just this computer. I am using Acrobat Pro V 11 on the computer I have at home and it does not have this problem.
