Invalid plugin detected after installing 22.003.20310

Hi, 

the previous version has working fine

we have tried to remove one plug-in file called "PTC_CreoView0.api" it seems worked now

however our company does not suppose to remove them out. hope next release should fixed the bug in any soon.

Hi Team, 

 

I had same plugin problem and i have recolated the PTC creo plugin file , on another location and it reader is working for now.

 

However , i have attached the file from location C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp. Steps to enable.

 

and list plugins

Please share the information asked below to help us understand the issue further:

 

1. MSI install logs from folder C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp. Steps to enable logging: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-client/application-management/enable-windows-installer-logging

2. Share the dump / filelist from plugins folder - ""C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\plug_ins"

3. Are you using any third party plugin in Reader before applying the patch.

I have the same issue and the problem has been acknowledged by PTC (CS384274) but they point the finger squarely at Adobe in their resolution.

Something broke in the latest update of Acrobat it seems.

Adobe do not fix this sort of bug. You must contact the plug-in maker.
