Is there a lack of compatibility of Acrobat Pro with Bitdefender for Mac?

I cannot save my pdfs after making changes, even after creating them from powerpoint, and also after introducing protection to the document. Are Acrobat Pro and Bitdefender not compatible?

I cannot save my pdfs in my Mac after making changes, and also after introducing protection to the documen. When I do try to save the following text appears:" The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder."

What happens when you try and save the file with a different name?

Also, if you go to document properties, can you confirm is this particular file was produced by another software and if it has editing restrictions?

Or is this happening with every PDF?
