Is there a way to make a word search work on a fillable form in Acrobat?

I am compiling a multi- page document fillable document for distance learners in my school district, but they have this word search that I am trying to find a way to make this happen. I've been all over forums and web searches, to no avail. Is it even possible? Any help will be appreciated.

It's a bit tricky (show/hide the letter O) but it works, you can of course change the font size and the font color in this example:

This is not possible to achieve with form fields. You can use the Oval commenting tool to do it, though.
