Is there any way to disable this annoting banner of Explore Curated Projects?

I don't want this, never asked for it and very much don't want a significant portion of my screen occupied by slop like this. Can I remove it? It would be great if it was possible with a little 'close this window' but it isn't there. 

I pay for Acrobat through my CC subscription. If this is advertising I don't want it. If it is 'helpful' it is stupid.

 

This dumb banner of distracting items shows up when I open Acrobat and also intrudes elsewhere in the UI. I loath this UX with a passion. Kill it.

    This worked for me.

    For Acrobat on desktop
    1. Close all documents in Acrobat.
    2. Go to the Preferences menu.
      • Windows: Click the Menu (three horizontal lines) icon in the top-left corner, then choose Preferences.
      • macOS: Go to Acrobat in the top menu, then choose Preferences.
    3. Select the Generative AI category in the left pane.
    4. Deselect the checkbox for "Enable generative AI features in Acrobat".
    5. Click OK and restart Acrobat to apply the changes.

    These sort of in-product advertisements are becoming more prevalent every release so much so our office is looking for alternatives to their entire lineup. It's tiring constantly looking for another registry line to tweak or buried checkbox to hit to remove unwanted features and product up-sells. The ship is sinking and these are the indicators. Adobe was once the go-to for many industries but there are a handful of great alternatives these days that seem to respect you more as a customer rather than a revenue stream... Either way, you might want to buckle up because chances are you will be seeing a lot more like this!

      Anybody know how to disable this obtruisve advertising banner yet?? Good lord, I do not care about Reese's Collection of books. For the love of your userbase, please tunr this off and stop doing things like this.

        Thanks for reaching out. We understand how distracting the “Explore curated projects” banner can be, especially when you don't need it.

        Could you try tweaking the GenAI preference? Launch Acrobat > Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Acrobat > Preferences(Mac) > Generative AI, and uncheck the preferences. Click Ok, Close Acrobat. 
        Re-launch Acrobat and try again.

          Hi

          It has been removed from "Recents" but still sits there in "My Projects". But since I don't appear to have any 'my projects' that looks like another unwanted slop of AI content rubbish hunk "Preview" sounds like malware mode where an AI is prying on my installation. Maybe don't push BETA content to paying users under the guise of 'useful suggestions'.

          Annoy enough of us and we will kill the apps by quitting our subscriptions since you are making it so full of slop and rubbish we didn't ask for that it is murdering productivity.
