Issue sending pdf by email

when I send a pdf to some people, they get a document that is labeled "winmail.dat" and they cant open it or download it.

Except if you send out a link to a file using Acrobat, there won't be any Adobe program involved in that. 

 

It's your outlook coding that and when the recipient does not have Outlook too, they can't decode.

 

If you would send your messages as HTML or plain text, the recipient would be able to read the messages correctly.

That's an issue with your email client. If you Google "how to prevent winmail.dat" you'll find LOTS of info.
