Issue with "Edit Using"

New Here ,
Feb 18, 2020 Feb 18, 2020

Big part of what I do is document clean up. My usual process is to scan the document with OCR, open it with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, and then select Edit PDF. When it comes to images in the document I usually select "Edit Using" then "Microsoft Paint" which would open the document in Paint and allow me to clean up the image.

Recently this stopped working. Now when I select Microsoft Paint I am told "C:\Users\UserName.png was not found"

I am unsure how to fix this. I tried redownloading Adobe. Setting the preferences. Nothing has worked so far.

Any suggestions?

The program that one uses to edit graphical content in a PDF is set in Acrobat's preferences.  You may need to visit the preferences, and browse for your desired editor's .exe in order to reestablish it as the image editor.  It shouldn't have changed on its own.  I would double check it here:

Dave, I appreciate your response but this is one of the things I tried and would not work.

Despite being directed to the correct program it still opens with the text "C:\Users\UserName.png was not found"
