I’m trying to convert a scanned statement into Excel using Adobe Acrobat Pro, but the numbers are not being detected correctly. In many cases, multiple numbers are being merged into a single cell. I’ve already tried using the Scan & OCR feature followed by exporting to Excel, but the issue persists.
Interestingly, Able2Extract is able to recognize the tables accurately and convert them into Excel with much better formatting.
Is there a way to achieve similar results using Adobe Acrobat Pro? Are there any advanced settings or tricks that could help improve table recognition and preserve the correct cell structure?
Thank you!

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble.
Please share the PDF and the Excel file you created using both applications. Once we have the files, we will check this behavior. Also, share the Acrobat and OS version numbers currently in use.
In the meantime, please take a look at the information in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/3Thjilr. Check if that helps.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

@Meenakshi Negi thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I cannot share the files because they include sensitive data. I have attached screenshots of a small table from the PDF and the result after the conversion. Also, we are on version 25.001.20531
Thanks,

Thank you for sharing the screenshots.
However, we would require the file to check this behavior. If you have a sample PDF in which a similar issue occurs, we can check it.
Thanks,
Meenakshi
