It takes long time to open 2nd PDF

Just recently (about a week ago) one of our client started having issue with PDF. When they open 1st PDF, it opens immidentaly but, as soon as they start opening new 2nd, 3rd and many more adobe takes a long time to open the file.

 

Not sure, if its the new update but, I tried installing latest version and then disabled the new version to get back to old version. Steps I have taken are disabling Enhanced security and Use page cache.

 

Please help!!

    I have had this issue and i found clicking the button to go back to the old adobe worked to speed up the opening of the second documents. i cant remeber what the button was called exactly but its near the bottom of either the file tab or just the left hand column

    Same problem here. We have 4 different computers with acrobat that have the same problem. Any suggestion?

    i've updated to the latest version, and it now works as before.

    I checked for updates on all problem machines and they were all updated 😞

    Same here, on all our clients, opening 3 or 4 files causes extreme delays. Sometimes even 1st pdf to open takes a long time.

    Just had a customer call with the same problem, I also work for an MSP.

    Can Adobe confirm there's a problem with the current version?

    Why can't we edit our replies?

     

    The user was on version 2024.005.20307, I've installed 2024.005.20320 in hope that it resolves the reported problem.

    We are having the same problem with numerous clients (We are an MSP).
    Seems to be an issue with a recent update that is bricking the application for many users.
