I created a fillable form in Designer Lifecycle ES2. The form is intended to be completed by me and sent completed to another party.

My questions is:

Can I create a command button of the form that would restrict “lock” and “unlock’ to form.

Wish to prevent anyone changing or altering the filled in fields.

My plan is to always save the blank form (unlock it with the button) fill in the form as needed then send to the other parties who are restricted from changing.

There is no 100% way to protect your file like that, your best option is to password protect the file from editing.

I realize this is 2 years late, but yes, this is totally possible in livecycle designer and I have done it successfully for years. I am typing from my phone and don't have access to my code but if you still need help, reply to my message and I will get the notification and provide the code and maybe even a sample of it working.
