JavaScript needed.JPG

I need to calculate TOTAL MILES wherein Start Mileage is subtracted from End Mileage (giving net mileage).   I am not familiar with JavaScript and I've poked around their tutorials for days now with no luck.  How do I calculate these fields when both Start and End  "fillable form" numbers will change?

Do I use the Permissions label in the calculation?  how do I identify that field ?....  All help is appreciated ..

You can use simplified field notation under 'Calculate' tab, since your field have space in its name you need to escape it with backslash, enter this into simplified field notation:

END\ MILEAGEHRS01 - START\ MILEAGEHRS01

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

That is not what I posted, there should not be  = sign and there should be space after backslash.
