So I purchase a new PC a couple years ago and it came loaded with DC Reader.  I have since installed Acrobat X Standard.   I have no problems using any of the software.  My problem only is when I open up my Outlook Live email account in Internet Explorer 11.  It constantly pops up "The Acrobat DC PDF browser plug-in is missing. Please reinstall Acrobat DC or Acrobat Reader dc to fix this problem."  Every time I go to a different folder, or inbox, or open up an email.  Once I hit the "OK" button 1-100 times......   then everything works like normal and I can open up PDF attachments.  They open in Acrobat X.  When I switch to a new email or folder etc.  it all happens again.   What can I do to stop this?

Thanks

Garey

A quick fix might be to reinstall Reader DC, though it could open other cans of worms.

Yeah....   I thought about it but not sure what would happen.

Anybody else have any ideas??

Ok, it seems something is left. Please try this: start Acrobat X and choose Repair from the Help menu. Make sure Internet Explorer and email are not running when you do this.

Still no change....

If I open a folder in Outlook Live, and there are 10 emails with PDF attachments, it pops up 10 times.

This is becoming a big issue when I open a business folder with over 100 PDF emails...

Did you uninstall Reader DC? How?

I did uninstall it.  It has been a couple years but I would have used the Uninstall a Program in the control panel.  This is Windows 7 Professional.
