They are at the end of the last page. Why do you want to remove them, and how should it look like afterwards?

I have the same problem. and It has to do with accessibility.

The document should be clean of any empty text boxes or unnecessary spaces.

there is a way to do it automatically?

You can use the Crop Pages tool for that. Select it via Tools - Organize Pages, then double-click on the page and in the dialog that opens tick the Remove White Margins check-box, like this:
