Greetings all!

I am experiencing an Adobe Acrobat Pro defect when using Save As... > PDF vs using Adobe settings in the ribbon of Microsoft Word.

When creating a PDF with Save As... > PDF, it will not create the links in the blue boxes:

See attachment Not Creating Link Within Graphic (Save As PDF).pdf

However, when creating a PDF with the Adobe ribbon in Microsoft Word, it creates the links in the blue boxes:

See attachment Not Creating Link Within Graphic (Ribbon).pdf

The Save As - PDF command is a Microsoft tool, built-in into Word. For issues with how it works try a Microsoft forum.

If you want to use Adobe's technology to convert your Word file to a PDF use the Create PDF command under the Acrobat ribbon.
