We are an SBA Lender about to implement Adobe Acrobat E-Sign for all our Loan Documents, including Promissory Notes.  Have any Lenders been challenged in a court of law on the validity of E-signed loan documents and promissory notes?

Try asking in the Acrobat Sign forum.

Thank you Try67. I chatted with Adobe and learned that Adobe Acrobat Sign partners with eOriginal; however, it is not automatically included in all forms of Acrobat Sign. Adobe advised I reach out to the vendors with whom we're working to verify if eOriginal is included. I'm waiting on answers from the vendors. Appreciate your help.

You should consult with a lawyer specializing in this field. The answer will depend on your location (which we don't know) as well as many other factors.

Thank you, Try67, for your quick reply!  One attorney recommended eVaulting of signed documents. I see that Adobe Acrobat Sign partners with eOriginal which allows for archiving signed documents in a secure digital vault. Is eOriginal automatically included with Adobe Acrobat Sign?  Or, must we purchase a separate license for eOriginal?

Sorry, I don't know the answer to that.
