How can i create a HYPERLINK into a PDF that directs me to another PDF document but into a specific page or part. Seems like it is working untill i close the PDF and reopen and only takes me to the document not to the specific paragraph.

Please let me know thanks

The other file it Is on the same pc as the main PDF it is not attached to it.
I am choosing the option LINK - open a file - and then when I press the link on my main pdf I just want it to open the other file on a specific page which I cannot seem to be able to do that for some reason.

Instead of "Open a file" use "Go to a page view", then open the other file and click the "Set Link" button in the floating window. You have to make sure the file remains in the same relative position to the main file for the link to work, though.

Thank you, i think i finally got it 🙂

Thanks for all the help and patience!

You're welcome! Unfortunately, the change I described above can only be done on one link at a time.

If you want to process multiple links in this way you would need to use an external tool, such as this (paid-for) one I've developed: https://www.try67.com/tool/convert-all-links-in-a-pdf-to-open-in-new-window

If you have a lot of links to edit it could save you a lot of time and labor.

Is the other file on the same machine as the main PDF, attached to it, located on the web, somewhere else?
