Links do not remain when converting from Excel to PDF

Hello all,

We currently use Adobe Acrobat 2017/Adobe Acrobat X with Office 2019x64/Office 2016.
Whenever we attempt to convert the file, everything works but the hyperlinks are removed. I've checked the preferences within excel and within Acrobat, to enable links/accessibility with no fix. None of the other posts on the forums seem to have worked for us either, has anyone figured this out?

Converting using other tools (on the web) seem to work just fine.

Are the links maintained when you Save As PDF directly from Excel, bypassing Acrobat?

That indicates the problem is with Excel, not Acrobat.

Did you use the insert>Link... menu or type in the full link URL? (Both of these worked fine on my end.)

Were the link locations ever not allowed in Acrobat?

Hi, thanks for the response.

The link is created with a hyperlink macro, but it only works for one of our PCs using acrobat X 10.0

and im not sure what you mean with link locations in Acrobat.

@try67 beat me to it--I suspected a macro.

If your links appear as actual URLs, you can try using the auto-create under Edit PDF > Links.
