Loop video in pdf

Is there any way to loop a video file (or insert a looped gif) into a pdf?
I have a *.mov file, I add it to the pdf using the "Rich Media" option. Unfortunately, nowhere in the options do I see the Looping option.

Yes, I read this post earlier.
I even found the java code responsible for the animation. unfortunately I don't quite understand what type of file it loads and what names the animation frames must have.
