Hi,

I have a similar problem. I have an M2 MacBook book with Adobe Acrobat 2020.5.30574.0. adobe acrobat on this m2 can not open password projected pdf file. However, I can open the password-protected pdf with Apple's Preview or even in chrome. any suggestions?

Hi there

What happens when you try to open the password-protected files? Do you get any error message? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same for more clarity.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

As described you are unable to open the password-protected file on Mac with the error password incorrect, however, the same file opens on iPad using the same password.

Please make sure you are typing the same password on Mac and also check for the caps lock. You may also try to type the password on MS Word or notepad and then copy and paste it in the password field to open the document and check.

Also, make sure you have the recent version 24.01.20604 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Let us know how it goes.
