Is it possible to take a 22-page PDF and make it into one continuously scrolling single page in Acrobat?

The largest PDF Acrobat supports is 5.04 metres. That's 16 pages of a4, 18 of US letter. You can't just make an indefinitely long PDF, they are a page-based medium. Other viewers may have different limits.

Thanks for answering. I ended up combining all PDF pages into one page at half size in InDesign and Exporting a new PDF.

Let me explain a bit further.

I'd like to take this very long, single page document that contains all 22 pages go the PDF and place it into a Frame in InDesign. Then I will be taking this placed PDF and making it into an interactive scrolling Frame using in5.

You can try printing it to the Adobe PDF printer with a custom paper size and the Multiple options, so that all pages are converted to a single page. But I'm sure there's a better way of doing it. Might be a good idea to ask over at the InDesign forums...

Thanks for answering Try67.

Hmm! I guess I could Place all pages of the PDF into a very tall signal page in InDesign and re-export to PDF. Because of size restrictions in InDesign, I probably will have to scale it down in my combined-page layout.
