My Adobe Acrobat XI Pro keeps malfunctioning. Error message states "Adobe has stopped working" then the Adobe window closes. I've already did the "repair" but that didn't work then I uninstalled and reinstalled it and it started working again for 1 day then I'm back to the error message as before. Is there anything else I can do? Is this happening because the Adobe Acrobat XI Pro is an outdated program?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Olivia

I have multiple copies on Adobe XI on various computer systems and they are exibiting the same issue. you open a pdf to view or edit and it closes out with the same error, most times it just closes the window with no error. It is my opinion that this is a bug that Adobe has placed into the program to push us to their subscription program. We are so ingrained in Adobe that I had to do just that for one of our staff. I cannot find a fix and so far it is happening to 5 of the systems that adobe Acrobat XI pro is loaded on. If you find a fix please let me know.

Very likely, yes. The most important piece of information is what exact version of Acrobat XI you have, and what's your OS version.
At any rate it's recommended you update Acrobat to the latest version available (11.0.23) and if you're on a Windows machine try running it in Compatibility Mode with an earlier OS, like Windows 7.

Adobe Pro which I paid for is no better. It crashes constantly when I try to save Word and Excel files to PDF for publication to clients.
The other irritation is when Microsoft put up that window "please wait for an eternity while we report the problenm to Microsoft so they can create a bigger problem next time".
